1. Introduction
PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PROGRAMS. MRAG WILL LICENSE THE PROGRAMS TO YOU ONLY IF YOU FIRST ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. BY USING ANY ONE OF THE PROGRAMS YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS.

CEDA Version 3.0, LFDA Version 5.0, Yield Version 1.0 and ParFish Version 2.0, hereafter termed "the Programs", are owned by the Marine Resources Assessment Group Ltd (MRAG) and are copyrighted and licensed, not sold.

Users must register for the use of the Programs. There is no fee payable for use or registration.

The term "Program" means the software and associated documentation and all whole or partial copies of it. A Program consists of machine-readable instructions, its components, data, audio-visual content (such as images, text, recordings, or pictures), and related licensed materials.

2. Use of the Programs
MRAG grants you a non-exclusive license to use the Programs.

You may 1) use the Programs to the extent of authorisations you have acquired and 2) make and install copies to support the level of use authorised, providing you reproduce the copyright notice and any other legends of ownership on each copy, or partial copy, of the Programs.

You will ensure that anyone who uses the Programs does so only in compliance with the terms of this Agreement.

You may not 1) use, copy, modify, or distribute the Programs except as provided in this Agreement; 2) reverse assemble, reverse compile, or otherwise translate the Programs except as specifically permitted by law without the possibility of contractual waiver; or 3) sublicense, rent, or lease the Programs.

3. Limitation of Liability
MRAG provides these Programs "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall MRAG be liable for loss, including but not limited to special, incidental, indirect, consequential or other damages including any damages claimed by you based on any third party claim. You will not hold MRAG or its employees, agents, Program suppliers or developers responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the Programs. The Licensee will hold MRAG harmless for any losses or damages of whatsoever nature arising from the Licensee’s use of the Programs.

4. General
MRAG may terminate your license if you fail to comply with the terms of this Agreement. If MRAG does so, your authorisation to use the Programs is also terminated. You agree to comply with applicable export laws and regulations. MRAG is not responsible for failure to fulfil any obligations due to causes beyond its control.

5. Place of Jurisdiction for Legal Disputes Arising
The place of jurisdiction for legal disputes arising in connection with this Agreement shall be England.

6. Identification of Owner
Where the Programs are used in connection with the production of any publication the citation provided in the Programs shall be clearly displayed.
